January 30 – 31 is called “Sea Rescue” Weekend. This time will focus on the rescue missions that SeaWorld has participated in the past 50 years. Some of these stories have been featured on the ABC television series called “Sea Rescue.” Guests have the chance to hear first-hand accounts of these marine animal rescue, rehabilitations, and return experiences from SeaWorld’s Animal Rescue Team featured on the television show.

Each weekend will feature a few new features for guests to enjoy during Wild Days. A new show called “Ocean Discovery” will feature a new killer whale presentation. This interactive show will teach guests about orcas and other species of whales and their adaptations, habitats, and behaviors.

On top of this new experience, a new “Inspiring Stories” pre-show will feature the SeaWorld Animal Training Team where guests can learn what it takes to care for animals that call SeaWorld home and how caring for them has helped with the rescue and rehabilitation of wild animals that need help. “Inspiring Stories” will take place at the beginning of three of the park’s popular shows: Blue Horizons, Pets Ahoy and Clyde & Seamore’s Sea Lion High.

Throughout the park, guests will also be able to meet SeaWorld’s animals as well as have fun in more than 14 different “Explore Zones.” Both of these stations are interactive and provide up-close meet and greets.
