One of the benefits of working for The Walt Disney Company is that the motto “all work and no play” doesn’t hold any weight, especially at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Cast Members across nearly all the resort hotels have been busily preparing pumpkins behind the scenes for their grand debut to the guests. From carved pumpkins in the traditional jack-o-lantern style, artistically painted pumpkins, to a more skillful type of carving to shape the pumpkin, these talented amateurs showed how they can create a different type of Disney magic for guests of all ages to enjoy. From a Space Mountain pumpkin at the Boardwalk Resort to a downed Star Wars AT-AT at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, the creativity was allowed to flow vividly just like the melted crayons did on the World Of Color pumpkin at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
WATCH:
Collectively, its a marvel of well over 100 decorated pumpkins spread across the property. Now while we may have missed a few, be sure to check out our gallery and tell us which one is your favorite. And if you have a pumpkin you’d like to share with us, just snap a photo and show off your creation in the comments below.
For guests staying on property, or visiting on Halloween that would like to see some of these pumpkins in person, here’s the unofficial resort guide from when we tackled the great WDW pumpkin hit on the eve of Halloween; locations subject to change per resort.
