Never Noticed: Abandoned Skyway Terminal In Disneyland’s Fantasyland

Many Disneyland attractions have come and gone over the past sixty years at Walt Disney’s original theme park. Usually, when an old ride is shut down to make way for a new one (or for other reasons), it leaves very little evidence behind as a reminder of its existence.

In certain cases, however, Guests may be able to spot leftover remnants of attractions long gone. Such is the case with Disneyland’s Skyway, which ran between Fantasyland and Tomorrowland from 1956 until 1994.

Long gone are the cables that once stretched across the Park and through the peak of the Matterhorn, but still visible, if one peeks through the trees behind the Village Haus, is the Fantasyland Terminal of the “Skyway to Tomorrowland,” as it was called departing from this area of the Park:
