Walt Disney World has revealed major entertainment changes to Epcot’s World Showcase, soon to be replacing several long-running acts with new ones.
Beginning this fall, Off Kilter, Mo’Rockin’, Spirit of America Fife & Drum Corps, and World Showcase Players will no longer perform at Epcot.
In their place Disney has announced a lumberjack-inspired show in Canada, a Berber music and dance troupe for Morocco, a corps of flag-waving performers in Italy, and a Celtic folk music group at the United Kingdom, with more to come.
Exact timing of these new acts’ debut is not announced yet.
It’s certainly not the first time a major at at Epcot has been replaced. The fan favorite “British Invasion” Beatles tribute group was let go in 2011 to be replaced with a new rock band playing more British hits.
