At this past weekend’s ScareLA convention, Knott’s Berry Farm featured a follow-up presentation to last week’s big Halloween Haunt 2014 reveal event, adding more details about this year’s lineup of mazes, scare zones, and special events.

The reason Knott’s Scary Farm will only feature two live shows this year, The Hanging and Elvira’s Big Top (ahem), is because of the addition of their new massive six-acre zombie shooting experience called Special Ops: Infected.

A full map of that experience’s layout was revealed at ScareLA along with the announcement that the Headless Horseman is coming to the event, encouraging fans to take photos of him and post them with hashtag #HeadlessHorseman to possibly win prizes.

The final announcement of the presentation was that Knott’s Scary Farm season passes, available for the first time ever this year, will reach beyond Knott’s Berry Farm passholders later this month at a cost of $75, if there are still any remaining. There are limited quantities available and existing passholders have first dibs.
