This year, the Radley Haunted House in St. Peterburg, Florida will presents a horrifying new story dreamt up by more creative minds than ever before.
Today we announce the partnership between Outside the Magic‘s Ricky Brigante (yep, that’s me) and Radley creator Cody Meacham, along with his small-but-talented team, to create an even bigger and better haunted attraction.
Dr. Radley’s Nightmare Machine will be a new walkthrough haunted house open for 15 nights in October 2014, putting visitors face-to-face with the horrors of the dream world. Featuring elaborate sets, hand made props, original characters, and stunning special effects, this year’s Radley Haunted House will bring to life a series of terrifying encounters wrapped in Meacham’s famous “beautiful horror” aesthetic.
But we can’t do it alone. We need your help to fund this expansion project, taking this home haunt to new heights. And we will happily reward you with plenty of terror-ific swag and one-of-a-kind experiences for your contributions.

All donations are greatly appreciated, with each little bit helping us fund the creation of the new Radley Haunted House for 2014, allowing us to purchase plywood, dry wall, paint, props, decorations, costumes, makeup, special effects, and much more. For your donations, you will receive our gracious thanks as well as a little something extra (or possibly a BIG something extra).
Personal Horror Experience
The most desirable reward is admission to a special personal horror experience, directed by Ricky Brigante at the Radley Haunted House. This will be a completely separate experience from the normal nightly show, roughly 30 minutes in length, designed for horror fans looking for the most unique Halloween experience in Central Florida. Availability for this experience is extremely limited, so act fast to reserve a spot.
Other rewards include pieces of Radley artwork, T-shirts, lanyards, and of course admission to the event including the ability to skip the long line that inevitably forms each evening.
For several years, the Radley Haunted House has stood out among the finest independent haunted attractions in Central Florida. Often compared to the quality of Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights and Busch Gardens Tampa’s Howl-O-Scream, Radley never fails to impress with its immersive environments, eerie ambiance, and startling scares.
But this is no professional haunt. The Radley Haunted House is the creation of artist Cody Meacham, who completely reinvents the experience each year, carrying the storyline of the Radley family across each Halloween season, revealing new details over time all while entertaining hundreds of guests each night.
