Disney Consumer Products held its 2014 Holiday Showcase in New York today, giving Disney fans a sneak peek into what will be available to retailers this holiday season. Toys from the worlds of Marvel and Star Wars are sure to be big, along with Disney’s own animated films “Frozen” and “Big Hero 6.”
Frozen still reigns supreme at the Disney Store, and this fall will be no different.

New this season is Frozen’s Snow Glow Elsa doll. Her dress lights up and she sings “Let It Go” in one of 25 different languages.
Also new this fall are the Anna and Elsa additions to the Animators’ Collection line, Hide-and-Hug Olaf plush (Disney’s answer to Elf on the Shelf, it seems) and accompanying storybook, and the Crystal Kingdom Vanity set.
Other Frozen products include the Olaf Snow Cone Maker, Mix-Em-Up Olaf (a Mr. Potato-head style figure), and an Elsa coin bank that lights up and plays “Let It Go” when a coin is inserted.
The latest Limited Edition Designer Dolls will be available in Disney Stores in September.
From the Disney Junior line-up we’ll see Dance With Me Clover, featuring a singing (and dancing) Clover from Sofia the First, Sofia the First Deluxe Dance Mat (a Dance Dance Revolution-style floor mat that plays 3 songs from the TV series for young Disney fans to dance along to), and two new versions of the classic Operation board game—one themed to Doc McStuffins, and one centered on Jake and the Neverland Pirates.
Disney and LEGO have partnered up to release sets for Star Wars, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Disney Princesses. Previously, Disney Princesses have only been available as Duplo sets, which are geared toward younger audiences. These two new sets are firsts for the 6-12 age group.
New on Disney XD this fall is the animated TV series Star Wars Rebels and there is plenty of new merchandise to accompany its release, such as new 30-inch Inquisitor and Stormtrooper figures and 20- inch figures featuring Darth Vader and Ezra, a new character to the series. The 20-inch size is new for Star Wars action figures.
The double-bladed lightsaber features detachable sides so two young padawans can duel each other.
Available now in time for the release of Planes: Fire and Rescue is the Action Shifters Burning Bridge Rescue set, featuring Dusty Crophopper sailing over a bridge to knock out flames. Planes: Fire and Rescue arrives in theaters July 18.
Baymax from Big Hero 6 makes an appearance as well, complete with sound effects and detachable armor pieces.
Also on exhibit at the Holiday Showcase was Disney Infinity 2.0, with special attention to the new Marvel figures arriving this fall. Disney Infinity 2.0 will feature new skill trees, allowing users to develop particular skills for each character, such as healing or combat. Disney Infinity 1.0 figures will be forwards-compatible with this new system, and will be able to develop skill trees as well.
New Event Discs and Team Up Discs will allow players to call in an event, such as a missile strike from Nick Fury, or team up with another (unplayable) character, who can assist in combat.
The auto-creator feature is another new addition. In toybox mode, players can place one structural piece, and the game will automatically expand from that point, making land development easy for those who might find it daunting to build in such an open world.
These are just some of the many products Disney is rolling out for this year’s fall and holiday seasons, many more of which can be seen in the slideshow below including more Marvel, Star Wars, and Frozen. Look for these products to hit Disney Store shelves as well as many in toy stores everywhere in the coming months.
