Universal Orlando guests get Diagon Alley sneak peek in Harry Potter construction windows at Wizarding World expansion

As curiosity piques around the ongoing construction of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley, Universal Orlando has offered an easy way to see what’s going on behind the walls while the expansion’s London facades take shape.

Decorated with red British phone booths, a pair of windows into the construction site have magically appeared with signs encouraging guests to “take a peek” at the finishing touches being put on the waterfront buildings.

The viewing areas are located on the left and right of the construction zone, purposefully placed away from the central opening into Diagon Alley itself. Though guests peering through can get great views of the London facades being built, construction walls still block that direct view into the main attraction, hidden until it is ready a few months from now.

And from outside the construction walls, plenty of details are beginning to become visible, though the London facades are far from done. Final paint is in the process of being applied to parts while other structures are still being worked on.

From King’s Cross Station on the left to Grimmauld Place on the right, the attention to detail is obvious to anyone looking on, even at this stage in construction. Fans may notice the slightly darker shades of brick across one section of Grimmauld Place, indicating the home of Sirius Black.

This is just one of the many elements that will stick out to “Harry Potter” fans when Diagon Alley opens this summer.
