Disneyland has updated their popular A Christmas Fantasy Parade with some new festive fun for the 2013 holiday season. The parade is performed daily as part of the normal park activities, featuring Christmas time favorite moments like wrapping gifts, baking holiday treats and preparing for the arrival of Santa Claus, who arrives at the end of each performance.

But new for 2013, are winter skiers (on roller skis) gliding around a frost-covered pine tree, Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen from “The Princess and the Frog” joining the Candlelight Costume Ball featuring other Disney Princesses, and a corps of finale dancers in Dickens-era costumes preceding Santa and his reindeer.

Normally performed twice a day, at 2:30pm and 5:30pm, last night Disneyland offered a special after-dark showing of A Christmas Fantasy during a holiday press event, captured in the video and photos below.

I wonder if Disney would consider creating a new holiday event at their parks which it would be themed to Valentines. It would be great for us to celebrate the love, romance and friendship.

So what’s your opinion of that?

That sounds like a good idea. Why not commemorate the great things about love? Goofy+Clarabelle, Minnie+Mickey, …

I think that in honor of the new Disney animated movie, Frozen, they should add Princess Anna and her sister, along with Olaf the snowman. They are part of the Disneyland family now, and it would only make sense since they put them in the world of color presentation. Also, the movie is Winter themed, and this parade is as well. Thoughts?
