Howl-O-Scream 2013 haunted house, scare zone full details revealed as The 13 come out to play at Busch Gardens Tampa

in Busch Gardens, Entertainment, Events, Theme Parks

After weeks of teasing The 13 evils, Busch Gardens Tampa has announced and revealed the full details for all haunted houses, scare zones, and shows for Howl-O-Scream 2013.

On the thirteenth year of each century, evil comes out to play with thirteen unique creatures and creepers dominating 14 nights at Busch Gardens Tampa this year. Those 13 will be taking over the streets of the event, while new haunted house experiences are added to a returning line-up.

Howl-O-Scream 2013 haunted houses

Three new haunted houses will be featured at Howl-O-Scream 2013, including one unique interactive experience.

The BASEMENT
From Momma’s secret ingredient to Granny’s bone-ground flour, Momma’s Meats’ award-winning recipe has always been a family affair that’s only created in the BASEMENT. Escape the depths of the BASEMENT before she and #4 The Butcher turn you in to the secret sauce! She always said it took blood, sweat and tears!

Death Water Bayou
Deep in the bayou the #6 Voodoo Queen mystically transforms lost wanderers into her minions of evil with black magic. Here, her night servants roam with a zombie-like hunger and seek to grow her collection. The darkest evils lurk in shadows. Get out before you fall victim to her spell.

The Experiment

Researchers challenge your fear tolerance and mental endurance in this never-been-done-before Experiment. In this exclusive study, “test subjects” endure psychological tests and must face top fear-inducing elements, from roaches and snakes to needles and darkness. How far is too far in the study of fear? Will you survive The Experiment?

The Experiment is a unique, interactive experience that challenges your threshold for fear for an additional fee, replacing previous years’ Alone experience. Reservations are required, and each reservation can accommodate you and up to three additional “test subjects.” Pass member discount does not apply. Not included with any other VIP tour or upgrade product. Howl-O-Scream admission is required, but not included. The Experiment admission is $50 for the first test subject and $10 for each additional test subject in the same reservation.

Haunted houses returning this year are:

Circus of Superstition 3-D
You’ve tried to avoid black cats and sidewalk cracks, but all those years of bad luck caught up with you! The #13 Clown challenges you to survive 13 superstitions in their 3-D Tent of Terror, but it will take more than luck to escape this whole new dimension of fear.

I was looking to go to Howl o scream on the Friday 25th October. I am staying on international drive how or what transport is available to get to and from this event?.

@G You do know that Howl-O-Scream is in Tampa, Fl and is a lot smaller compared to Halloween Horror Nights which is in Orlando, Fl… If you are trying to get to Tampa the Red Coach would be the less expensive way and their buses are really nice. If you would like something faster or more luxurious like a personal SUV with a driver call around for any airport transport place. Or you can just rent a car and make the drive yourself

If we visit the park on a Saturday, general admission and stay until close… do we have to pay extra for Howl O Scream or how are the two separated?

Howl o scream is a separate ticketed event that requires a new ticket. However they do have a deal to do both for about $20-$30 more than the daytime ticket depending on what day of the week you go. If you are going to busch gardens thursday-saturday you might as well do this because the park closes early around 5:30pm in order to setup for howl o scream and they shepard all the daytime guests out at tht time. I go to both HOS and HHN every year and HOS is by far the better event.
