Scrooge McDuck’s massive money bin has been made a reality, ready for fans of the classic “DuckTales” Disney Afternoon TV show to bury themselves in amongst countless gold coins and other valuables on loan from Duckburg’s richest resident.

It’s all in promotion of Capcom’s highly-anticipated upcoming video game “DuckTales: Remastered,” an HD remake of the beloved ’80s Nintendo game. Scrooge’s money bin is set up within the iam8bit Entertainment System art gallery in Los Angeles, which opens today featuring artwork inspired by 8-bit video games from the Super Mario series to The Legend of Zelda to Punch-Out and more.

Sadly, diving into or swimming around the money bin is not permitted, but grinning widely while sitting amidst a sea of oversized plush coins featuring Scrooge’s own face is definitely encouraged. Scrooge even let the gallery borrow his hat for visitors to wear while posing for pictures inside the bin.

Just yesterday, Capcom released two new gameplay trailers, narrated by bumbling pilot Launchpad McQuack, showing off the game’s Transylvania and Amazon levels. And in the iam8bit gallery alongside the money bin, the announcement trailer, complete with “DuckTales” theme song singalong, is being played.
