From March 7-10, 2013, TransWorld’s 18th annual Halloween and Attractions Show was held in St. Louis, MO, displaying the latest gruesome creations for the ever-growing haunted attraction industry. It is an industry-only show, not open to the general public, intended for creators of props, costumes, set pieces, and more macabre merchandise to gather with haunt owners to buy, sell, and swap stories.

This year’s show brought plenty of mayhem, from killer clowns to terrible teddy bears and everything in between, ready to scare come Halloween time. Scott Simmons, Creative Director of The ScareHouse haunted house in Pittsburgh, was in attendance and sent over a gallery of freakish photos for our perusal, a few highlights of which are singled out below, followed by a complete slideshow gallery.

For those interested in seeing items like these up close, this year TransWorld is holding a first-ever public version of their show in Orlando called Halloween Extreme, to take place alongside Spooky Empire’s May-Hem, May 24-26, 2013.
