With much of Storybook Circus already open at the Magic Kingdom, today the Disney Parks Blog has revealed the final piece of the big top puzzle: Pete’s Silly Sideshow. This portion of the New Fantasyland expansion will invite guests to “come one, come all” to meet classic Disney characters inside one of the area’s big top tents.

Pete’s Silly Sideshow character greetings will feature Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, and Goofy dressed as circus stars, each in their own unique setting. One line will bring guests to the girls of the circus, “Minnie Magnifique” and “Madame Daisy Fortuna,” while the other visits “The Great Goofini” and “The Astounding Donaldo.”

Naturally, Goofy is dressed in the same Goofini outfit he sports in the artwork that surrounds his nearby Barnstormer attraction.

Posters offer a further look at what these roles have in store for familiar Disney faces:

Unlike his former Toontown home in this back area of the Magic Kingdom theme park, Mickey Mouse will not be appearing in Pete’s Silly Sideshow, remaining a magician in Town Square Theater meet-and-greets at the front of the park.

It’s not clear what Pete’s involvement is in the sideshow just yet. He’s not announced as a specific character to meet in this location, despite it being named for him. Beyond this big top tent, a second tent will house a separate merchandise location called Big Top Souvenirs.

Both Pete’s Silly Sideshow and Big Top Souvenirs will open on or before Dec. 6, the grand opening date set for New Fantasyland.
