Pixar’s immensely popular and successful “Toy Story” trilogy has been followed up by a pair of short films, dubbed “Toy Story Toons,” which first debuted on the big screen and are now available via iTunes. “Hawaiian Vacation” and “Small Fry” are just $1.99 each for digital downloads.
“Hawaiian Vacation” premiered in front of “Cars 2” in theaters and ultimately found its way home on that film’s Blu-ray release. But while “Small Fry” brought lots of laughs before screenings of “The Muppets” in theaters, it didn’t appear on the film’s home releases, so the new iTunes release is the first chance at owning this short.
More “Toy Story Toons” have been announced to be on the way, including two 22-minute TV specials to debut in 2013 and 2014.
