Disneyland Resort has begun previewing the massive Cars Land expansion of the Disney California Adventure theme park among its Cast Members and soon with select annual passholders in the coming days. Social media feeds across Twitter and Facebook are beginning to light up with glowing reviews and a sense of excitement for the completion of Disneyland’s 5-year, $1 billion+ expansion.

While those not able to attend these previews anxiously await the grand opening next week, Disney has provided us with a bit of video inside Radiator Springs and a pair of its attractions.

Showing off the transformation from detail by day to neon by night, the video below whisks around the Cozy Cone Motel and Flo’s V8 Cafe, two of the eateries found within Cars Land. In addition, we’re given a sneak peek at Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree and Luigi’s Flying Tires, both new rides that will soon debut along with the E-ticket attraction Radiator Springs Racers, which is mostly absent from this video, though hinted at by a few shots of the astoundingly realistic rock work Disney’s Imagineers have created for its canyons.

Cars Land officially opens to the public on June 15, 2012, but we’ll be further previewing it, along with Buena Vista Street, as early as the 13th, just one week from today. As Disneyland’s promotional tagline says: Get ready to be floored.

You’re right, no photos or video are currently allowed during Cast Member previews. As I wrote above, Disney provided the video.

While I am not the biggest “Cars” fan in the world (I LIKE the movies rather than LOVE them) I gotta say this is pretty darn overwhelming. It looks like the location where they shot the first film – and yes, I know, it was animated. Very, very impressive.

I need to see pics of me on the ride!!!>:(
