Disney theme park piano music by Tom Ameen now available on iTunes

in Disney, Theme Parks, Walt Disney World

Following years of his music being featured on our Inside the Magic podcast, pianist Tom Ameen has released three of his popular renditions of classic Disney theme park songs to the iTunes Music Store. As part of his new Solo Piano Moments EP, Tom Ameen offers elegant versions of music heard at Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, and Epcot.

Here are links to purchase and download all three songs:

  • Golden Dreams (from Epcot’s “American Adventure”)
  • Fantasmic (from Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood Studios)
  • The Wonderful World of Color (from “World of Color” at Disney California Adventure)
  • “I decided to release these first three songs because they are some of my favorite Disney Park music of all time,” said Ameen. “I’ve always loved Golden Dream since the first time I heard it back in 1983. It brings me back to the early days of Epcot and all the wonder and excitement it offered me as a teenager. I also wanted to release Fantasmic and World of Color because I believe these are two of the best shows at any Disney park. The musical journey of Fantasmic is unmatched, and I love that Disney brought back The Wonderful World of Color. My piano tribute to World of Color is a blend of the old theme with the new arrangement.”

Ameen is a longtime Disney fan and has shared his beautiful versions of these and more Disney songs with our Inside the Magic listeners for many years and is looking forward to finally offering the songs for his fans to download, keep, and enjoy. He was most notably the official musician for our virtual 5-year anniversary celebration in Show 262.

If these three songs are successful, Ameen plans to release more Disney piano renditions on iTunes in the future.

Solo Piano Moments also includes renditions of Lady Gaga’s “Born this Way,” Katy Perry’s “Firework,” and Madonna’s “Express Yourself.”
