Some of the most popular hot spots (quite literally) aboard the new Disney Fantasy cruise ship from Disney Cruise Line are the top pool decks. We’ve already taken a closer look at the adults-only Quiet Cove and Satellite Falls, but decks 11, 12, and 13 offer much more for passengers of all ages to enjoy.
For photographers, like myself, walking these decks during the day and after dark can be one of the most enjoyable pastimes while sailing the Disney Fantasy, particularly on at-sea days. Aside from people watching, entertainment on the top decks includes the AquaDuck water slide, AquaLab and Nemo’s Reef water play areas, Arr-cade video arcade, and Goofy’s Sports with Goofy Golf. These decks also include the “Finding Nemo”-themed Cabanas restaurant buffet, above-mentioned Quiet Cove, a few bars, snack windows, and plenty of great vistas of the surrounding ocean. And at night, it all illuminates with bright hues of red, white, and blue.
So let’s take a virtual vacation on the Disney Fantasy with a tour of these top decks via the videos below, followed by a photo series illustrating a typical day spent at sea lounging around the ship, from morning to sunset to nightfall.

The Disney Fantasy leaves on her maiden voyage on March 31, 2012 from Port Canaveral, Fla., sailing 7-night cruises to the Caribbean, including a stop at Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay, which offers more stunning videos from these top decks.
