For the 2011 Christmas season, SeaWorld Orlando is offering a new telling of the Christmas story along with an expansion of a new favorite show from last year and other returning entertainment. The holiday happenings are included with regular park admission at SeaWorld, which beautifully comes alive throughout the season.

The new holiday show “O Wondrous Night – The Greatest Story Never Told” will feature more than 30 carols, based upon the Christmas Story and told through the eyes of a variety of live animals.

The colorful Sea of Trees debuted last year and has been expanded this year to include 100 trees, each sparkling, lighted and choreographed to classic holiday tunes around SeaWorld’s center lake. Here’s a video of how it appeared last year:

Also returning are the Winter Wonderland on Ice show, Shamu Christmas … Miracles, Clyde and Seamore’s Countdown to Christmas, A Sesame Street Christmas, The Polar Express Experience, The Christmas Market, and Holiday Reflections: Fireworks and Fountains Finale, with soaring fountains, dazzling lights, and festive fireworks, choreographed to joyous holiday musical favorites. Experience a wondrous SeaWorld Christmas connection that lights the night.

It all begins November 25 – Dec. 11, continuing nightly December 16 – 31, 2011.
