It’s been revealed that Howl-O-Scream 2011 at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay will feature seven haunted houses, including three new mazes. But it wasn’t Busch Gardens that let the zombie out of the bag, so to speak. The AAA Auto Club South web site provides the names for the six houses to be featured in this year’s Halloween event.

The three new houses are: Ultimate Gamble: Vampire Casino, Nevermore, and Zombie Mortuary. Returning are favorites Alone, Nightshade Toy Factory, Death Row Vengeance: Fear the Dead, Deconstruction: The Doctor Is Out of Control.

Ultimate Gamble: Vampire Casino is the house Busch Gardens hinted at months ago, featuring a pairing of vampires with a Las Vegas setting. (Not to be confused by the “chance” and “luck” theme of Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights this year…) Also previously announced is the now-named Nevermore house, inspired by the works of Edgar Allan Poe. And zombies appear to be taking over in a new house called Zombie Mortuary and possibly in the returning house Death Row Vengeance, with the new subtitle “Fear the Dead.” The Alone house is also returning once again, though it’s not clear in what form yet.

Tickets to Howl-O-Scream 2011 at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay are now available online, with many packages and options to choose from. The “Fright Feast” option currently mentions two different dinner shows, last year’s “Blood Relations” and something called “The Midnight Hour”, so it’s unknown which show or shows will be presented when the 2011 event begins on Sept. 23.
