Just before the “Kick Buttowski” panel began, Disney unveiled a new preview trailer for the upcoming TV show “Tron: Uprising” at the San Diego Comic-Con. The show will premiere on the Disney XD channel in mid-2012 and it was revealed to attendees that ten 3-minute mini-episodes would lead up to its debut.
Now, nearly a week later, that new trailer for “Tron: Uprising” is available for your enjoyment online:
The new trailer features a series of artwork and models at the beginning, showing off the look and feel inspired by the recent “Tron: Legacy” film. “Tron: Uprising” takes place between the original “Tron” and its sequel, just as CLU begins to rise to power. Elijah Wood voices the show’s main character/program, called Beck.
After the panel concluded, Comic-Con attendees were also given “Tron: Uprising” posters:

The video was posted on the official Disney XD YouTube channel. I’m not sure why they’ve pulled it. Strange. I’ll look for another copy.
