Disney recently toured a trio of artists who worked on The Little Mermaid through the new dark ride inspired by the classic animation film. Andreas Deja, Mark Henn and Glen Keane marveled at seeing Audio-Animatronics bring Ariel, Sebastian, Ursula, and Scuttle to life in colorful scenes filled with motion.
The new video below shows off all of the above including the “Under the Sea” and “Kiss the Girl” scenes in The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure:

The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure opens at Disney California Adventure on June 3, 2011 and some time in 2012 as part of the New Fantasyland Expansion at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom.

The more I see of this attraction the better it looks! I can’t wait to see a ride through and then experience it for myself on my next trip. Hopefully the WDW version will be exactly the same or better than the DL version.
I like it so far it looks like it ready i would say that they got everthign right it just that last part with eric and ariel i love that im so happy with that
Love love love… Only thing is Sebastian just looks like he is missing something… Looks and moves good but he just doesnt look like himself
