Celebrating the 5th anniversary of the opening of Expedition Everest at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, a party was held for annual passholders that included a meet-and-greet with Mickey Mouse and Goofy, who showed up dressed as mountain climbers. The photo opportunity took place just outside the entrance to the popular roller coaster attraction, with both characters sporting Nepal-inspired mountain climbing outfits and gear.
A long line formed as soon as the pair showed up, but I was fortunately standing right there to snap a few quick photos and shoot a short video:
Beyond the meet-and-greet, the event allowed passholders unlimited access to ride Expedition Everest, Dinosaur, TriceraTop Spin, and dance along to music, played by DJs throughout Asia and Dinoland.
