Tonight Disneyland will premiere a new show called “The Magic, the Memories and You” presented via projection onto the festive facade of the “it’s a small world” attraction. If the show’s name sounds familiar, it’s because Disney previously premiered a similar show on Walt Disney World’s Cinderella Castle last week.

Like the Magic Kingdom show, the Disneyland version will feature pictures of park guests, taken throughout the day via Disney’s PhotoPass service, and projected in a grand scale along with plenty of fun animations specifically designed to fit the attraction’s exterior.

Disney has released this preview video of the show:

It’s all part of the 2011 promotion called “Let the Memories Begin.”

Tonight’s “preview” show begins at 6 p.m. and is followed by the show’s official debut at 7:30 p.m.

After today, “The Magic, the Memories and You” will be shown at 7:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and at 8 p.m. and 9:10 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Check back here later tonight for much more from its premiere!

How timely! I was eating at Pizza Port – catching up on my RSS feeds – when I saw this article. I ran right over and caught the show. It is FANTASTIC!! It’s no world of color – but definitely something everyone should go see- it’s definitely worth your time.
