Disney announced today that a new parade called “Mickey’s Soundsational Parade” will be arriving at Disneyland in California in 2011.

They revealed the artwork above, which offers a glimpse at the Disney films that will be featured in the parade including The Princess and the Frog, The Three Caballeros, Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, The Lion King and more.

A Disney Princess float will also be part of the new parade and will include Rapunzel from Disney’s upcoming film Tangled, along with a representation of her tower home.

“Mickey’s Soundsational Parade” is described as having “thrilling rhythms and bold percussion that will bring to life some of the most beloved melodies from Disney films.” Live musicians will be featured and watching crowds will be invited to join in and dance with the characters.

And as far as Disney’s made-up words go, I like “soundsational” much more than “nightastic.”
