Just a couple hours after Disney’s new “World of Color” show premiered at the Disney California Adventure theme park on June 10, 2010, I spoke with Walt Disney Imagineer Kevin Eld about the show.
Eld told me how the show’s concept was initially pitched, a few details about how it’s produced each night, and what’s in store for “World of Color” in the months and years to come:
“World of Color” is now officially open, performing nightly at the Disney California Adventure theme park in Paradise Bay. But if you can’t make it to see the show in person any time soon, you can watch our video of it in its entirety. (Though, I’ll admit that neither this nor any other video of the show can truly do it justice.)

Yes! That’s what I wanted to know/hear! I’m very glad that they can go back and change things, like you said Ricky, for say, holidays. For me that means maybe better transitions in a few places that I felt were weak. I wonder if they’ll do anything for the Expo next year.
