A huge part of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando is the exclusive merchandise available for purchase throughout the stores at Hogsmeade Village and Hogwarts Castle.
Earlier today, my wife and I had a chance to preview the Wizarding World. She is a huge Harry Potter fan and couldn’t resist splurging on some of the unique and creative products, which we now bring you pictures of.

This is only a very small assortment of the amazing merchandise available throughout the Wizarding World. The merchandise keeps with the theme of the area and is not your typical theme park selection of logo items. It’s nearly impossible to find anything for sale with Harry Potter’s face on it. The selection, in general, is more like what you would find if you were actually shopping in Hogsmeade Village or Hogwarts Castle, keeping with the highly-detailed authenticity of the rest of the Wizarding World.

It says that the brooms are around $300, but some could be more. It’s in the top half of the comments. Hope that helps.
Simply amazing! Thanks for all the awesome pics. Going in a few days…I should probably leave my credit cards at home…but I won’t!
Hey! I really appreciate all of the exclusive photos and videos. I read on several websites that Filch’s Emporium of Confiscated Goods has remote control Golden Snitches for sale. Is this true? If you saw them, how much were they?
I didn’t see those.
Oh, and are the wands made out of wood? If they are $28, they better be of good quality. Haha!
Nope. They seem to have a solid metal core.
That’s even better. They’ll last longer that way. They aren’t heavy, are they?
Okay, I’m going crazy, I remember someone asking about buying the ‘Monster book of monsters’ and where it can be bought and I can’t remember where (if it was here or at another forum) I saw it. They have it for sale at Amazon in case that person was from here cause I don’t know if the WW will be selling it.

They are handpainted polyresin with metal rod inside.
So many questions, where to start.. Well I’ll be there from july 24th to the 28th armed with 3 day park to park passes. The first day i want to dedicate to the HP area.
-What would you recommend doing first? Shopping or Forbidden Journey?
-Do the souvenirs come with bags? Or should I bring one to carry the items?
-Do wands sell out fast? (its the main item i want to get)
-And do they have school robes?
-One more! How long are line estimates around the time of end of july?
Thanksss
)
Just a heads up…they have a message at the Universal online store saying they’re getting things ready to start selling WW merchandise.

Shopping can wait until later in the day. The Ollivander’s experience will have a line all day long, with it being shorter at the end of the day. But you don’t have to go through that to buy a wand. In fact, Universal has set up a magic wand cart outside the Forbidden Journey attraction as well.
You’ll get a sturdy plastic bag with a handle with every purchase.
The wands will not likely sell out. It seems like they have enough to go around.
They do have school robes.
Line estimates are quite unknown at this point. But given that it’s the busy summer season PLUS the Wizarding World being new, I’d imagine lines throughout the park will be fairly long. Lines are always shorter at the end of the day.
Hi im just back from Orlando and went to WWoHP about 5 times when i was there. We went for 9am on our first day and didnt queue for more than 20 mins to get into park. Forbidden jourey wait times seemed no longer than 45 mins every time i went. Dont buy chocolate frogs too early as they will be melted by the time you leave. A lot of the merchandise can be bought at the Universal Gift shop in CityWalk. I bought chocolate presents in here on my way home so they stayed solid. Evening time is a great time to go as its cooling down and it quietens down because people that were there early have got tired and left. On my last visit they had sold out of the butterbeer cups and were using just regular plastic cups with butterbeer wrote on the side. Olivanders has a queue permanently and it gets very warm when queing during the day. Have fun its amazing
Go to wand shop first-40 min wait…then forbidden journey then 3 broom sticks then shop…honeydukes is cool zonko? is ok. Butter beer frozen and non frozen are amazing…mixing them is the best.
@Katie R: lot of people from what I here head to the Forbidden Journey first. However if you are hoping to get your hands on a Chocolate Frog your going to what to get there early to get it that is the hottest idem right know
As far as the bags they have the poster they used to promote the park. I don’t know if they have any other kinds of bags
They have lots of wands they have 13 different Birthday wands and then wands film the film. the store is very small and can only hole around 25 to 30 people at a time. So they should have wands with out selling out
Yes they have school robes from each all 4 houses from what I hear and there around a $100 each
Will I do know opening day was and 8 hours wait to get in then by about 2 o clock in the after noon the Forbidden Journey ride was about 45 minutes the same day. If you are going out between July 13-17 do know the LeakyCon is going to be there. Over all I would guess about half the time it was for opening day but can for sure
Hope it helps
yes perfect! ill be there the 24th through the 28th. i loved hermione’s wand but im curious what the may wand looks like (my bday). i cant wait to go!
Does anyone have any idea how much the Quidditch items are? The Quaffle, Beater’s Bat, Bludger, ect?
And ty for posting this. This all looks amazing and you sure got some great stuff!!!
Bludger- $22
Quaffle- $20
Snitch-15-20
approximate!
I will be going in July. Thank you for posting all this info. I know that there is lots of merch you can purchase at the WB shop online and the Noble Collection catalog. Plus I live by a FAO Schwartz store which carries the map for $35, so if it’s not on sale on the WB site, I can always get it there.
I’m going to be careful w/my spending and buy things I can ONLY get at the park. Thanks again.
Does anyone know if they sell time turners at the shop? I’ve been dying to get my hands on one!
They unfortunately don’t sell time turners and they don’t expect to.
What a letdown…
Here you go:

http://www.amazon.com/Harry-Potter-Turner-Sticker-Running/dp/0762429771
Do they have head boy and head girl pins for the houses like they do for the Prefect pins?
Oh and by the way, how fast do school robes sell out? How are the sizes determind? And is it just the cape or other pieces?
Unfortunately, I haven’t really looked closely at the robes. But I’ll try to next time I’m there (which will be soon).
The Universal Store website “Wizarding World of Harry Potter” section has now opened for business, selling a limited range of merchandise.
http://www.universalorlando.com/OverviewPages/Shops/merchandise_store.aspx
Thanks! I posted about it here: http://www.insidethemagic.net/2010/07/wizarding-world-of-harry-potter-merchandise-now-available-from-universal-orlandos-online-store/
How ridiculously long are these lines to get into the different stores anyways?
The last time I was there, there was no line for Honeydukes or Zonko’s. Ollivander’s looked to be around 45-60 minutes. Dervish & Banges / Owl Post (which is where Ollivander’s exits into) was likely around 30 minutes. There’s never a line to enter Filch’s Emporium, as it’s the exit for Forbidden Journey.
Well alright! looks like I am willing to wait! But do you recommend shopping or riding the forbidden journey first?
The Forbidden Journey queue is much more enjoyable than waiting outside to get into a shop. I’d recommend visiting Ollivander’s first thing in the morning, browsing through the Owl Post and Dervish & Banges afterward, and then hitting Forbidden Journey.
Ok great! Lets hope they have what I need!
Hello! How large are the pins, if you happen to remember? Specifically interested in the Prefect pins.
Depends on the pin. Some are as small as 1″ and others are as big as 2″ or more.
Hi, I just wondered, that Golden snitch, does it come off the black stand? I’m dying to get one, the one you have is pretty much what I’m looking for, but I want to be able to take it off the stand.
Hi. This site is awesome! I can’t wait to go to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter during Christmas time. By any chance, do you know what colours the Pygmy Puff’s come in, other than pink? Thanks.
Only pink!
Thanks!
Awwww! Now you’ve convinced me to go!
does anyone know the size of the golden snitch? that wing span looks pretty long…
Around 8-10″ across.
Hi!
I know the wizarding world is open for quite some time now, but i live in Europe so it’s not quite easy for me to go. I had a question, do they sell prefect badges for hufflepuff/ravenclaw houses too?
I have been researching on the internet and the forums and I wanted to know if they actually sell the Quidditch robes inside the park? I have a friend who would love to get one….
Hey, how come I can’t find any plush toys of Fang?
They do sell them at Filch’s Emporium in the Wizarding World.
can you pleaseeee tell me which store you got the socks from?!
The socks were in Filch’s Emporium (the Forbidden Journey gift shop).
Hi, i love that golden snitch, can you please send the link to buy it please..
Do they sell subscriptions or copies of the quibbler?
Okay, i am such an idiot! Just figured it out. Duhhh… We are going in less than a week!
