Lots-o’-Huggin’ Bear (Lotso for short), a new character from the upcoming film Toy Story 3, made his meet-and-greet debut today in Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World.

Lotso can be found in the Disney Animation area of Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park.
Lotso is "a hugger" so be sure to give him one!
Some children were very excited to see the large, pink, fluffy bear... and others were a bit scared. But I imagine that's the case with any large character.
Hidden amongst Lotso's ultra-soft fur is his tag. He is a plush toy after all! Click the image to enlarge it and see the tag closer.
Here's me posing with Lotso. He doesn't smell like strawberries (as some had reported) but he is definitely quite soft and huggable.
Lotso also dances up a storm during the Block Party Bash parade. I can't believe a large bear can move like that!
You'll find plenty of plush Lots-o'-Huggin' Bear toys throughout the park, usually among other Toy Story 3 merchandise.
Lotso isn't too friendly looking in this "I'm a Hugger!" pin. We'll find out why when Toy Story 3 hits theaters on June 18.

Lotso is now available daily at Disney’s Hollywood Studios to meet and greet at 10:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. The break in the middle is for him to make an appearance in the Block Party Bash parade.

do you think they’re trying to position Lotso as the bear that they have in Tokyo disney sea?
Not at all. The Disney Bear is very different than Lotso. I’m sure once we all see Toy Story 3 then we’ll know the real story of who Lotso is.
So now that Toy Story 3 is out…and for those who haven’t seen the movie yet I’ll try to avoid any spoilers…. But I wonder how will the TS3 plot affect Lotso’s meet & greet potential from a kid’s point of view?
